The Party Source attempted to sell Blanton’s Bourbon online, website crashed

A bourbon supply crashed on The Party Source’s website today as thousands tried to buy hard-to-find bottles of Blanton’s Bourbon.

In an attempt to maintain social distancing guidelines, The Party Source in Bellevue has offered some highly sought-after bottles of bourbon for sale online.

Although they only allow pickup at The Party Source and limited local Kentucky delivery, thousands of people rushed to purchase the coveted bottles and The Party Source website crashed.

This was the first time The Party Source offered an allocated release online due to the pandemic.

“We underestimated how much traffic our site would receive at any given time and unfortunately our server could not handle it. A very limited number of people were able to make it to the site or even the site. and we apologize for any frustration., ” said a post on Facebook.

Any bottles that were not purchased before the site crashed are not available in the store. The Party Source is looking for a way to sell the bottles safely. It will not be on the same format, an official confirmed to the Enquirer.

“The idea was to be socially responsible. If you can imagine all the thousands of people who just tried to buy it from our website, we certainly don’t want that kind of volume in the store,” said a Party Source manager. .
