Still looking for Hatchimals? This online site could be your salvation

NEW YORK – If you’re still trying to get your hands on the most popular toy of the holiday shopping season, there is a tool that could help.

Hatchimals is this year’s “All-the-Way Jingle” product, hitting store shelves faster than demand can keep up. But if you’re still hoping to catch a Hatichimal, rightfully, is a useful tool.

The Walmart affiliate site tracks online inventories of the most popular vacation toys. Look for the product you want – like Hatchimals or the elusive Nintendo Classic – and the site will give you an up-to-date inventory of online retailers like Amazon, Target, and Walmart. You can also sign up for text alerts that notify you when they become available.

As for in-store shoppers, toy insiders recommend checking with store managers.

If you shop at Target, ask for the LOD, or “head of department”. Local Target LOD said Sunday is the day when dozens of outbreaks will restock the shelves, as we enter the final weeks of the holiday season.

Walmart representatives said tens of thousands of Hatchimals are on their way to all of their 1,700 stores. Each store will have “dozens” of toys, but consumers will not know when they will arrive. The best advice is to keep checking with your local store manager.
