SSS members invited to use online services



THE Social Security System urged its members, as well as pensioners and covered employers, to use its online services and the drop-box system during office transactions, when imposing the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ ).

In a statement, the SSS said the areas covered are its main office in Quezon City and all branches of the National Capital Region Plus (NCR +) bubble in Laguna, Cavite, Rizal and Bulacan provinces.

The public is encouraged to use the SSS online channels, which include the My.SSS portal on the agency’s website, as well as its mobile app and the Text-SSS service on 2600.

“Information about the pension fund’s mandatory online transactions and other online services is posted on its Facebook page at https://bit.ly/31wTXch and https://bit.ly/3tnW12c” , said the SSS. Likewise, various SSS payment channels are also published on said page at https://bit.ly/3lpPYaR.

The service schedule will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the period of the ECQ.

“These measures aim to minimize the risk of exposure of the public carrying out the transaction and its employees to Covid-19,” said the SSS. “The SSS assures its stakeholders that it is implementing alternative working methods to ensure the continued delivery of its services.
