Feb 22 (Reuters) – Peloton Interactive Inc (PTON.O)noted on Tuesday, an issue that was preventing thousands of users from accessing its cycling and treadmill classes was resolved.

More than 5,000 users had reported issues with the fitness maker’s online services earlier today on Downdetector.com, a website that tracks outages by collating status reports from multiple sources.

The outage may have affected a larger number of users.

Peloton, whose shares fell 1.2% amid broader market weakness, did not respond to a request for more details on the cause of the issue.

Several users had taken to Twitter to express their frustration.

“I just spent an hour trying to get my workout in. I’m so close to a 60 day streak I’m going to lose it if I can’t get in later,” Twitter user @reneecarmela said.
