File a complaint against an insurance company or check the status of your complaint – If you have a problem with an action or decision made by your insurance company, the OCI may require them to provide an explanation and ensure that they comply with Washington State laws and your policy .

Surplus Online Brokers File, Change and Pay Premium Taxes – Surplus online brokerage business entities with active licenses during the tax year can file a premium tax return here.

Independent Review Bodies (IROs)
Apply as an Independent Review Body – Entities acting as an IRO in Washington State must register with the Office of the Washington State Insurance Commissioner.
Submit certification and recertification details – IROs can submit their certification and recertification documents.
Submit Independent Review Decisions – IROs can access assignments and report decisions to the Office of the Washington State Insurance Commissioner.
Small pharmacy calls
First submission of an appeal to the OIC – Small pharmacies located in Washington State may appeal to the Office of the Insurance Commissioner regarding a Pharmacy Benefits Manager’s (PBM) decision regarding reimbursement of the cost of a drug.
Submit a new call or track an existing call– Small pharmacies can log into their account to submit a new appeal or follow an existing appeal.
Pharmaceutical Benefits Manager (PBM)
Pharmacy Benefits Manager Registration – PBM applicants must register with the Office of the Washington State Insurance Commissioner.
Submit, edit annual filing and pay fees – PBMs registered with the OCI declare their annual gross income, renew their registration and pay the fees.
