These online services have been integrated into a single e-district platform and will be made available to beneficiaries on the edistrict.odisha.gov.in and eicelectricityodisha.nic.in portals.
The Chief Minister said that providing hassle-free services to the people has always been the top priority of the state government. “We are committed to bringing about such transformations in all walks of life,” he said.
Patnaik said these online services would be of great benefit to industries, business establishments in addition to the state’s skilled electrical workforce.
âWith the new online platform, the state’s electrical workforce, such as electrical workers, supervisors and contractors, can now apply for licensing and renewing their licenses online. The inclusion of online services such as electrical licenses, safety inspections and testing should greatly facilitate industries, âhe added.
Digitally signed electronic certificates can be uploaded by applicants, ensuring transparency and authenticity. Fast service delivery at your fingertips will be the essence of these online services. He appreciated the Department of Energy’s initiatives to successfully transform their key online services for the digital benefit and empowerment of citizens.
