KUALA LUMPUR (September 28): MY EG Services Bhd (MYEG) said its 40% Filipino (JY) I-Pay MYEG Philippines Inc (MYEG Philippines) joint venture is deploying two e-government services in the Philippines – online payment of income tax to their Bureau of Internal Revenue; and payment of fees to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
Online income tax payment will be available on MYEG Philippines’ online portal from October of this year, MYEG said.
“Made possible through a partnership with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the service will enable Filipinos to meet their tax payment obligations without having to physically queue at government counters,” he said. in a press release.
