SASKATOON – The City Clerk’s Office will launch a new application for online appeal and payment services starting in January.
Starting next week, when office hours resume after the two-week Christmas break, residents will have new, convenient options for making call requests and paying associated fees.
The call for applications and the online payment concern the following elements: property assessment, development and license calls.
Property assessment appeals can be lodged by any owner who wishes to appeal a property listed on the City’s 2022 property assessment roll.
The owner can do this during the 30-day Appraisal Review and Appeal period from January 4 to February 4, 2022.
Citizens can also access online information requests, applications and payments from next year under the Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP ).
Other options for payment by check or money order and paper request for all types of recourse and when requesting access to information will continue to be available.
