BIR operates MyEG online payment service – Manila Bulletin


The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has partnered with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and MyEG for a payment service that allows taxpayers to pay their taxes online.

In a statement released by MyEG on Tuesday, January 11, the e-solutions company announced that BIR is expanding its available payment channels in time for renewal of permits, licenses and several registration fees for 2022.

“One of them pays its annual registration fee with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR),” the company said. “Paying taxes through MyEG’s Electronic Tax Payment is simple, convenient, and hassle-free.”

MyEG said that “all taxpayers need to do is simply log on to www.myeg.ph and choose from the different series of BIR forms and the type of tax they need to pay and will be redirected to the gateway immediately. payment area of ​​MyEG where they can choose their preferred payment option.

“This whole process will only take less than a minute and payments are displayed in real time,” the company added.

BIR Philippines taxes that can be paid through MyEG include withholding tax, value added tax, percentage tax, documentary stamp tax, employee benefit tax and corporate income tax , among others.

“This innovation is part of our third solution providers to explore ways for taxpayers to file and pay their taxes while staying in the safety of their home or office,” said BIR Deputy Commissioner Lanee. David.

“This effort is greatly appreciated as it complements BIR’s efforts to improve our key services, e-Services, and provide the public with different options to help them comply with their tax obligations online,” she added.
